Mike was active duty US Air Force for 12+ years where fitness was part of his daily life. While in the Air Force he was trained as a physical training leader and conducted numerous physical training (PT) tests for his fellow Airmen and led morning PT for his unit. He was a traditional weight lifter until he first experienced CrossFit while stationed at Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho in 2012. He adopted a strict fitness regime and new outlook on nutrition while there and continued that lifestyle upon separating from active duty in 2013. CrossFit has helped him with his transition from the military to civilian lifestyle and he hopes to help others do the same. Mike has attended Jeff Wittmer’s Olympic Weightlifting seminar and is a CrossFit Level 2, CrossFit Weightlifting and CrossFit Mobility trainer. In addition, Mike is a Precision Nutrition Level 1 Coach.

She transitioned to coaching after realizing that she wanted to help others find the passion for fitness that CrossFit ignited in her. Her favorite thing about CrossFit is that it is truly for everyone - no matter your fitness level, we can make it work for you! What she loves, though, is the community. CFR is a "gym family," and one she's proud to be a part of. Staci is a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer.
Abby's passion for fitness and health began as she competed as a triathlete. She quickly found out as she won the 2016 All Ohio Triathlete in her age division that she enjoyed applying the discipline, drive, and grit necessary to achieve her goals. Even though Abby started Crossfit as an offseason training activity to build muscle and gain strength she quickly fell in love with the community, atmosphere, and environment at Crossfit Regulate. Fitness and nutrition were not always easy for her. Abby's past struggles with being over-weight provides her with the understanding of what it takes to unlock potential and develop strong habits. It is from this understanding and her passion for CrossFit that makes her a coach that believes in helping others step out of their comfort zones so that they can develop as athletes and individuals. In addition to coaching, Abby is currently in the Dietetics and Nutrition program at The University of Cincinnati. Abby is a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer.
Abby started her yoga journey 25 years ago in high school as a way to control her asthma, her hot temper, and prevent athletic injuries. While teaching high school in Colorado, she taught yoga after school to high-risk teens. After moving to Ohio, she left classroom teaching and completed her RYT-200 level yoga training with Simply Power Yoga in 2016. Currently she teaches yoga from home, works with high school students throughout the country as a private college counselor from home, and of course spends a lot of time with her family. She is excited to escape her house….. Abby strongly believes the unity of yoga allows one to explore and discover more about themselves physically, mentally, and spiritually. She provides many options for poses so you can flow in a way that is challenging for each individual, regardless their level of experience. She cannot twist into a pretzel or move into full splits, but will support you if you want to try. She is excited to share her experiences with the Regulate CrossFit community.
